Agolde vs Levis My Opinion

Levis Wedge Icon Fit Size 28 shrunk down. Color Shut It

The Scoop

I have been sharing posts wearing two brands of jeans a lot. The brands are Levis and Agolde. The price difference is crazy if you ask me and I wanted to share my opinion on which brand I think is worth the money. I bought them all from Revolve online. They ship fast and have a great website and are amazing with returns.

First Up Size 28s in Levis and Agolde . . .

The first three pictures of jeans only, are a pair of Levis (Wedgie Icon) and a pair of Agolde (Riley High Rise Straight Crop) that I have had for several years. I bought them when I was a good 10 pounds heavier. I still wear them both because I ran them through the washer and dryer on hot a couple of times and they shrank down and fit a little loose but very comfortably and I love the look and fit. They are both 100% cotton which I love.

Levis on right, Agolde on Left. They seem identical to me. I love them both.

They both have button fly which now days I prefer zippers but I am fine with these.

The backs are identical exce;pt the Levis pockets have a design and leather tag. I rather like the Levis back the best. But again love them both.

Next Up Size 26 in Levis and Agolde . . .

The next three pictures of jeans only are a pair of Levis (Wedgie Straight) notice the first pair were Wedgie Icon and a pair of Agolde (Riley High Rise Straight Crop) both a size 26. This is the size I wear now after losing weight. They are more fitted but still really comfortable. I don’t notice a differene in the wedgie icon from the wedgie straight except the leg may be wider on the wedgie icon.

Aolde on the left and the Levis on the right but they again are almost identical in every way. 100% cotton not much stretch which I prefer in my jeans.Different colors though. I really like the darker Levis.

Levis on the left, Agolde on the right. Both button fly.

Backs fit the same, just pockets are differenct.

The Agolde is laid on top of the Levis so you can see they are exactly the same as far as I can tell although I did not measure. The Levis waist looks a little smaller.

Lastly Agolde Size 26 . . .

The last three pictures of jeans only is a pair of Agolde size 26 that fit like a 28. They are 99% cotton and 1% elastane which makes them have stretch. And they are just big for a pair of size 26. I had them in a 27 and they were way too big so I sent them back for the 26 but should have gotten the 25s.

I love how they look dressed up and they are so comfortable. But I should have went down one more size. Even the 26 is too big. Right now I wear 26s in most jeans. But 25s for this pair would have been better. I guess it is because of the stretch the elastane gives them. They are all so different so alway just what they are made of. It is amazing how much stretch 1% of elastane can give.

Here is the post where I am wearing them.

Bottom Line

I love both brands and am glad I have them. But the Levis are better made just slightly and have details that I like better. For the price I would go with the Levis. If you want to splurge and treat yourself go for a pair of Agolde. But honestly I have to look at the tags to tell them apart.

My very favorite pair are the Levi’s Wedgie Icon fit. The silhouette is the best for me.
