Mussels Arrabbiata - It's What's For Dinner
The Scoop
I have been sharing a recipe each week of something that I thought was fun to make, delicious and healthy. This recipe was a win for all three! I must confess I have never cooked mussels myself before today but love them when ordered at a restaurant. It turns out they are very easy to cook!
I was able to get fresh mussels and they were wonderful! I cut this recipe in half to serve two and it was tons of food. It didn’t turn out looking exactly like the picture in the recipe but it was still a beautiful dish!
I used fresh mussels (2lbs) and basically everything the recipe listed was cut in half. I didn’t have black olives so I used Kalamata olives. They are a little salty so I did not salt the dish and it turned out fine.
