Spring 2022 The Boilersuit

The Scoop

I got this boiler suit almost exactly two years ago for Valentine’s Day, date night. It was the last Valentine’s Day we got to go out to eat before the pandemic. I remember it so well, we sat out on a patio at a favorite Italian place, they had live music and I felt so chic in my outfit. Awe, the good old days.

Anyway, I still love this look and wear it whenever I can. It is as comfortable as a onesie but you can dress it up to be quite chic. Yes, one of my favorite purchases ever. And I got it at Target!

I am wearing my favorite nude pumps. It seems I wear them all the time lately. I may need a backup pair before they wear out. The bag (OMG) I was nuts for this bag when I got it last spring and I still am. Don’t ask me how but it seems to go with everything!

Hair Saga

Most days I hate my hair. It is too long and believe it or not it makes me feel older when it gets this long. But lately I have found a style that sort of brings out the volume and looks nice to me. I wish I had not cut my bangs though because they are hard to do anything with while they grow. I never learn! Ha-ha.

I use Biolage products, something my stylist always used when she did my hair. I use a blow dryer to get it almost completely dry and then I use a very large roller brush dryer to give it more volume and shape. Then while it is still warm, I put it up the those huge like Velcro rollers and let it set for as long as I can stand it. 15 minutes at least but one day I ran an errand with my husband with them in. He didn’t seem to even notice outside asking if I was trying to reach someone in outer space. When I take the rollers out I have BIG hair and I love it. And the style lasts for at least three days.

Right now, I am ok with letting it grow until I can get back to Idaho to see my stylist who is a good friend. We are both huge dog lovers! That’s how we bonded so long ago and I sure miss her.

My same bag is lots of color options. Obsessed with the last two options for this season.

My pumps are Nine West here are a few options. Nude pumps are kind of hard to find right now.
