Summer Style in 110 Degrees

The Scoop

We are back home in Arizona! It is so good to be home even if it will be short lived. I forget how much I love it here while I’m away. Even with temperatures in the one hundreds there is a majestic beauty of the landscape and colorful skies at night.

It was cold in Idaho while we were there. Sometimes 20 degrees below average. Highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s. So, when we got back to Arizona it felt kind of nice but very hot at the same time.

With such drastic temperature changes came drastic style changes. No more fitted pants or sweaters or jackets. Now it is time to wear flowing dresses. It’s amazing how versatile dresses can be. Just changing your shoes and bag can take you from casual to dressed up.

My Look

This shirt dress is from the Gap. I absolutely love it, so much so that I have it in three colors. If I really want to dress it up more, I can put on a fun belt. But for this look and because it was so hot out, I wore it loose. I added a pair of old Sam Edelman sandals and an old wicker clutch to complete this look.

It is so hot that even putting on lotion or self-tanner makes you feel clammy so I didn’t even bother. I wore earrings but took them off because even they made me feel too hot.

Linking exact dress (size down). I am wearing extra small and still have tons of room. This makes an amazing night shirt too. I have this in green, the pink and the black. But they have so many pretty colors!

I linked other dresses from the Gap that I have along with same sandals in different colors and similar bags!

Thanks for stopping by!

Peace!
