The Scoop

Random here, but I was just thinking that in November I will have been doing this blog for nine years. I plan to continue to ten years and then evaluate whether I want to keep going.

There have been times when this blog brought me stress. But only when I was trying to walk in the shoes of expectation by social media. That was a rat race where I was mostly doing what I thought I was supposed to do. It was short lived and I realized that this blog was supposed to be fun not a competition. I quit social media and things went back to being fun again. I know my blog won’t have the reach it would if I stayed in the rat race but I don’t care. I am much happier playing with fashion and sharing a bit of life as seen through my eyes. Anyway, I’m happy with this little space. I would like to redesign the layout again. I love the design aspect of blogging.

My Look

It’s starting to look like my uniform. These corduroy pants are such fun to wear because they come in so many colors. It’s a nice change from the shorts and jeans.

Here I have pants in the cognac color. I love white with cognac so I am wearing a white tee and a white denim jacket. Both are old. To add another fall trend I wore my clogs. They are also old but I wear them every fall and this year they are so on trend. They are easy to wear and add a little interest to a look.
