Partly Homemade Comfort Food Recipes 2023

The Scoop

It was 15 degrees outside and I craved comfort food. I didn’t have all the ingredients to make it completely homemade so I improvised. And it turned out so good. Let me introduce my No Recipe, Recipe, Tuna Casserole.

I keep these boxed macaroni and cheese mixes at home for the grandkids who don’t like most grown up food. So, I used it along with a can of tuna and some organic chips to crumble on top. I really wanted peas in it but I didn’t have any.

It turned out so good that even my husband who would never usually eat anything from a box loved it!

First make the macaroni and cheese according to the instructions. Add a little extra cheese if you want before you add the pasta to the sauce. Then add the tuna and sprinkle the crushed chips of your choise on top!

I used multigrain chips because that is what I had and they actually were perfect.

Anything on a pretty plate is going to taste good if you ask me! ha ha!

Thanks for stopping by!

Peace!
