The Scoop

I think one of the best things about fashion in the summer is the simplicity of it all. It seems the simplest pieces make the best looks. If you start with your favorite jeans or bottoms whatever they may be and add a simple tank or tee you are over halfway home. You can really set the mood of your look with your accessories.

My Look

I’m wearing a pair of Levi’s (501 cropped), a black tank (Old Navy), a pair of wedge sandals (Marc Fisher) and the cutest white jacket (Walmart). I added a thin leopard belt for extra interest and that was it. I love the touch of pink in the sandals with the leopard on the belt.

I carried my Rebecca Minkoff bag. I have told you the story of this bag. When it came out a few years ago it sold out so fast. I spent a couple of years looking for one and finally last year found this one (brand new) on Poshmark. It is a classic that I will carry forever. I was really surprised to see it in a light denim for sale at Nordstrom right now.

In the last picture I traded my sandals out for a pair of Birkenstocks to show how you can change the look just by changing the shoes.
