The Scoop

We got this house late last fall and it is where we stay in the summer. It is an older Mediterranean style home and I love it. I don’t want to change hardly a thing even though some would say it is outdated. I have always loved older things and this house has features that are simple beautiful.

However, I want to put my stamp on it. The walls are all tan. And I am not ready to paint the whole house. I love to paint myself and decided to do some accent walls. I chose a color palette from this article.

So far, I have painted an accent wall in the dining room, a hallway and the pantry doors. I used a color called Dried Thyme which does not show true in my pictures but we love the change it made.

I have a beautiful blue I will use in our primary bedroom and have several other places I am planning on painting.
