The Scoop

This has been the hottest week of the summer here in Idaho with temperatures today expected to reach 105 give or take. I get up around 5 AM to exercise, walk the dogs and get any errands or outdoor things done before noon. Luckily, we still drop into the 60s at night so getting things done is doable if you do it early.

Since I have afternoons to hang around the house, I have been playing with looks that will transition to fall. One of the colors I keep gravitating toward is a mustard shade. Of course, I love oranges all year around and pops of black are also fun.

My Look

I am wearing a pair of what I call extreme wide leg pants. They are light weight and come in so many colors. I love the length because I can wear flats (in this case sneakers) or heels. I wore a black cami (old) and a cropped denim jacket and carried a black bag to complete the look. I also wore a black headband which I do a lot lately. I love the fullness it creates. Below you will see a longer jacket that I tried with these pants and I love it too!
