I have been on the fence about the maxi and midi skirt trend this summer. I have one midi skirt from years ago (see here) but it wasn’t really fitting the style idea I had in my head. Then I got this shorter skirt (see here) last winter and it is cute but not quite a midi. Recently I saw this skirt and thought it would be fun to style because I could carry it throughout the year by changing out the shoe and top. I think my western boots will look good with this skirt along with a chunky sweater.

Linking same skirt plus another one that I think I will order because it is more of a maxi and I want one of those too. I went up a size and am glad I did. I like a more relaxed fit. I also linked a couple of white shirts that are nice.

My Look

I am wearing a midi skirt in a light denim from Abercrombie. I like that is has a split in the front making it easier to show case shoes. I wore a simple white button down that I have had a couple of years now and added an old leather belt that has a floral design on it. I put on my favorite clear sandals and carried blue denim Rebecca Minkoff bag to complete the look.
