Fashion For Women Over 50 2023 - Leather Pants Fall

See my pumpkins on the mantel. Fall decor is on!

The Scoop

Today we are heading out to an annual art festival down town. I have gone to this festival for years and always enjoy all the work of our local artists. We also plan to get lunch while we are down town. I am excited for a beautiful day as our weather is also going to be perfect!

Meanwhile, recently I was looking at pictures from last fall’s blog posts and was reminded how excited I was about faux leather pants. Right away I knew I needed to put together a look using them. I didn’t bring the ones from last year here with me so I was keeping my eye out for a pair to style.

Here is a post showing some of my looks from last fall wearing faux leather pants.

Here is a post (last fall also) of me wearing a faux leather top which I adore.

Can you tell I love fall colors?

I looked online and found these pants still available (which is a miracle) in this brown and black(which I ordered along with a top to go with them). I sized up one and am so glad I did. My top is also still available. My pumps are Nine West so I linked same brand along with some fun bag options.

My hair is a little wonky here! ha ha

My Look

I was in Walmart picking up a few things and I always must browse the clothes when I am there. I found these pants and immediately grabbed them. They were a size up but I like them loose so I figured they would be fine. They are a chocolate brown and I don’t have any that color and remembered that I had a new top that would go perfectly so I grabbed them!

My top from Nordstrom has all the fall colors I love along with bell sleeves and a shorter length that is perfect for high waisted pants. I wore one of my favorite necklaces from a trip to Mexico (a Mexican Fire Opal) and carried a beautiful bag I have had for many years that is Italian leather. Last I wore my nude pumps because like a said in an earlier post, it is pump season! ha ha!

I was trying to let my gray hair grown in but I just wasn’t feeling it. I worked toward it for six months. But I just didn’t feel like myself. I have used the same hair color since I was 21 years old. So, I freshened up my color. It grabbed onto the warm tones but that will wash out quickly and I will be back to my old self!

Such a comfortable outfit!

Thanks for stopping by!

Peace!
