The Scoop

If you read fashion blogs much you know what the third piece means. Most outfits start with two pieces as a base, a top and a bottom. We can stop there or build on that foundation. Adding the perfect third piece finishes and elevates a look. Even when wearing a dress, you pair the dress with shoes or a bag but then when you add a jacket, shawl or accessory you complete the look.

My Look

In this look I am wearing my new favorite pair of jeans (Levi’s). I love them for many reasons one being because they are the perfect length on me for flats or heels. That rarely happens. I am about 5’5” but I have a short waist and very long legs. So, pants are usually almost too short. I also love the attached string tie at the waist giving it a little bit of pizazz. They fit at the waist and hips and then widen all the way down. Love!

I wore a simple black tee-shirt with these jeans and a pair of leopard kitten heels. To complete my look, I added a fabulous scrunch sleeve blazer in a cognac color. This is the best blazer for fall and winter. So pretty and versatile. Imagine the options!
