High Low is Always a Go

The Scoop

This is one of my all-time favorite looks. It is my go-to when I want simple, classic and fun! The components? A white button-up shirt, favorite jeans, belt and a pair of neutral shoes and bag. I also like to add some classic jewelry to this look.

The high-low point is that the shirt is less expensive, the jeans and shoes are more expensive, the bag is inexpensive, the jewelry is more expensive and the belt is inexpensive. You get a nice mix that works!

Speaking of a button up shirt. I used to always call it a button-down shirt. But I learned that a button-down shirt is one where the collar is buttoned down. Otherwise, it is a button-up. I don’t think I own a button-down anymore. Does that fall under the category of “useless information!” ha ha!

My Look

My jeans (Agolde Riley Cropped from Revolve) are older and I have a few pair of them because I love them so much. My shirt (Amazon) is just perfection and I am ordering another one for back up. My belt (Amazon) is what I am wearing all the time lately. My pumps (Nine West, Nordstrom) are older but basics I will always want in my closet. My bag (Amazon) is new and I love it so much I ordered it in a light tan color. Lastly my neck stack I bought from a company that has beautiful things. I got two necklaces and added my own diamond solitaire given to me by my husband on a Valentine’s Day one year. I just love this look. An influencer shared the links to the cuffs and hoop earrings (Amazon) that are great for everyday style.
