The Scoop

If you want to add a trend to your closet for spring but don’t want to go trend crazy, you can do it with stripes. I don’t think stripes have ever not been on trend but right now a striped top is all the rage. It’s fun too because it can be any color or any style and still say, I know what’s going on in the fashion world. ha ha.

I am so mad at myself because I had this cute striped top from years ago that I gave away and now regret because I can’t find another one like it. Ugh. That is the problem with getting rid of things, sometimes you wish you hadn’t.

Meanwhile I did find this top and I love it. I love that it is lightweight so it will take me all the way to summer. I love the colors of blue and white with the green trim although it comes in many options. I also just love the cut; it says casual but chic.

My Look

So, this is an outfit I will wear a lot for the rest of winter here in Arizona and all spring in Idaho. I am wearing a striped top from Amazon, a pair of wide leg jeans from H & M that I am crazy for. They are light weight so very comfortable.

I am wearing very old mules and carrying my favorite everyday bag also from Amazon. I love this bag because it is on trend, crazy durable and perfect for all the everyday things I need to do. I can throw it around in the car or shopping carts and not worry about damaging it. It also comes in many color options.

My earrings are several years old. I got them from Tuckernuck and have always loved the pop of color they add to a look. My mules are old too but I love a tan shoe with this look.

I’m linking same top, same jeans and same bag. The jeans come in black too. I sized up for a really relaxed look and feel but they already are relaxed so you could do perfect with your normal size. I think the brown striped top would look fabulous with the black jeans and the black bag!
