Super Cute Spring Look
Keep on keeping on
It may kill me but at least I will be doing something I enjoy!
The Scoop
Spring has sprung gang and I am so excited! I’m not sure how it happened though, it sort of snuck up on me. I always thought that as I got older, I would have more free time but the opposite has happened. My days fly by so fast and I still don’t get all the things I want done, done.
Yesterday I cleaned out the garage. It was hard work but so gratifying. I feels good to know that even though I may have more aches and pains I can still do most the things I want. Like the other day I rearranged my living room. Yes, after both projects I woke up the next morning with sore muscles and an achy back but it was worth it.
I suppose a day will come when I can’t do as much as I used to but until then I will keep moving. My dad who is 94 and completely self-sufficient was out splitting wood this winter for his stove. And he remined me once again that if he died while doing it at least he would die doing something he enjoyed. And that is my philosophy too!
So, here’s to keeping on keeping on!
My Look
I got this blazer last spring and it is the prettiest thing. It helps keep the chill off but looks right for the season! Light pastel colors are so fabulous for this time of year especially if you can find them in transitional pieces of clothing. I picked up a similar blazer this spring in a soft pink and it is one of my favorite pieces to add to a look.
My blazer and jeans are from Walmart. The jeans are so comfortable and cute! My pumps are old as is my hand bag. My tank top is an old one from Target.
Peace!
Thanks for stopping by!
