The Scoop

I was going to take the month of August off but when I got dressed today, I so wanted to share this look! It screams summer is still hanging on, but in a good way.

It has been hot here like most everywhere. I saw a chart where over the last decade our average temperatures here are up 24+ degrees. We have had many days over 100 degrees and that certainly in not the normal.

But any hoot what are you gonna do? Be thankful for air conditioning and keep on keeping on.

My Look

I thought I was done thinking about summer fashion but then I saw this jumpsuit (Walmart/Free Assembly). OMG! I wish I had it in other colors. But the white will serve me well. Then I found these sandals (Sam Edelman) and it was like they were made for me and this jumpsuit. Can that be a thing? Ha ha!

My bag (Rebecca Minkoff) is old but always there when I need a fun pop of cherry red. My nails and toes are bright red and my newly cut hair is still spending a lot of time in pig tails! I wanted it short but it had been long for so long that I am having to learn how to style it all over again and not having much luck. But it is only hair and will grow soon enough, right?

I’m linking exact jumpsuit and sandals. The jumpsuit is low stock but your can sign up to be notified when it restocks and I found a very similar one that I am ordering in the Navy. It is the same brand but with different little details. The jumpsuit runs big, I am in a small but the next one I order will be in extra small. I am sort of swimming in the small but the draw string pulls it all together!
