The Scoop

I have been a sneaker girl my whole life. I remember as a young girl I had two pairs of shoes, cowboy boots and sneakers (Converse) otherwise I was barefooted. I was either riding horses or running all over the place on foot or bike.

I can still feel the soft warmth of my horse against my bare feet as I sat in the pear tree eating pears and dropping them down to my horse standing below waiting for a treat then hopping on her back and riding bareback across the fields. Some feelings never leave you.

I also remember riding my bike downhill on summer evenings with June bugs slamming into my forehead. Those were the days when it was much safer for kids to run around freely. My mom had five kids and she mostly liked it when we weren’t around! Ha Ha. I can’t say I blame her; we were a handful.

My Look

My sneakers (Adidas Sambas) are fun with my favorite color orange stripes. I must say they are amazingly comfortable. I always size down a half size in these. My jeans are so fun from Target early this summer, my top also Target. My bag is old, a beautiful Italian leather made by the brand Adore. I love this bag in the vibrant orange and I have it is black too. One of my prized possessions!
