Slow Living 2025
The Scoop
As I have shared lately, I don’t know what to do these days. I stay very busy with the house, yard/gardening, dogs and thinking. And I feel satisfied. Have I lost it? Or am I finally giving myself a break?
I feel like I am done, racing around trying to please people, trying to excel, to beat myself. My biggest competition seems to be myself most of the time. And strangely, I don’t want to compete at all anymore.
I feel so good, watching the football game with my brother over the phone (He lives in Missouri). I feel good making my own salsa for chips to snack on during the game. I feel so good walking the dogs and snuggling with them for a nap. I am ok with things moving slow and easy.
I read online that this is a thing right now. Especially with the newer generation. Do they know something I don’t? When I slow down everything is more colorful, clear and delightful. I don’t know how it happened but I am embracing the “slow living” vibe.
My Look
Part of my slow living vibe is relaxed clothing. I am loving leggings that barly hug, not squeeze and big soft tops layered over a tee shirt. I love my sneakers and even my Birkenstocks. No make up is very routine too. If I do wear make up it is very minimal like I used to wear it. Just a little tinted sunscreen, liner, mascara and bronzer on the cheeks and then a touch of tinted lip balm.
Here I am wearing a pair of leggings, sports bra, cute hoodie and a pair of old sneakers. When I was ready to run an errand I picked up my belt bag. It is new. I got it because I have it in a cream color and love it so much I wanted one to go with different outfits. Also because I left the other one in Idaho.

Linking same top in several colors. I am wearing the pink but it really is more of a coral. Linking options for leggings and sneakers and my same bag.
