The Scoop

I love to peruse the internet looking for unique ideas in fashion, home, fitness, etc. Lately I have been gravitating toward men’s wear or men’s looks. I ran across someone trying on men’s Levi’s and a lightbulb went off.

I researched to find out how to figure my size in men’s Levi’s and checked out the styles online. I was 99% sure what I ordered would be returned due to sizing or fit.

I was so surprised when I tried them on and they were perfection in every way! These jeans are top notch quality and way more affordable than even the same brand in women’s jeans.

In my book Levi’s is the king of denim. They are a solid 10! They are made sustainably and last forever (I have some that are close to 20-years-old). The seams are always straight, they are made of 100% cotton and they deserve the “Chef’s Kiss!”

My Look

I am wearing in men’s Levi’s the 505 Regulars. They sit at the waist, are regular through the thigh with straight leg. No stretch. I am wearing a 30 X 32. A 30 in Levi’s for men is a 4 or 27 in Levi’s for women.

I bought two pair in a dark rinse (called Dark Stonewash) and a medium rinse (called Medium Stonewash). These are the medium rinse. I got the non-stretch. They have low stretch and high stretch but I like to no stretch. Also, I never or rarely wash my Levi’s unless they get dirty which they don’t.

I love that they are not too high at my waist. I love the length (I rolled mine up in this look), the weight and the fit! They are my favorite jeans now.

I wore a white tee and a fabulous Levi’s sherpa and corduroy Trucker jacket. I have had the jacket a couple of years now. I first saw one on Gilmore Girls years ago and went on the search and they are still being made and still a fabulous vibe! They sell out fast though.

I wore a pair of Marc Fisher hiking boots (old). So, in love with these. I have had them a couple of years and have them in the black too.

I mixed high and low necklaces and wore a fun green watch! And I carried a bag that I am using daily lately. It is cute but equally functional for my lifestyle. I have it in a deep chocolate too.

P.S. Wearing a cute belt that I wear with almost everything. I have it in black too. It adjusts in the back so always fits with any outfit.
