A Long Drink

Friday evening we thought we would go out to eat for a change. We have been trying to eat very healthy and I had made us salads for dinner all week. I was able to vary them with different meats or proteins and dressings so it was not really a sacrifice. They were all very good. But eating salad every night calls for something different on the weekend.

The Drink. Bar and Weterfront Grill

We decided to go to this place that we had visited before, The Drink. Bar & Waterfront Grill. The last time we were there they were a little understaffed and apologized for being slow. But the food was really good and we had a nice time over a drink. And the wait wasn’t too long. This time after we were seated we were told they were understaffed again and that there was only one cook and to please be patient. We were sitting outside on the patio in the beautiful sun on the water and thought how bad could it be? Almost an hour and half later we got our dinner and some of it was burned and some of it looked like it had been sitting out for an hour and a half. We couldn’t even eat it. We were gracious to the waiter who told us he was also helping cook but decided we won’t visit this establishment again.

The weather was lovely with a nice view.

The evening was beautiful but still a little chilly, only in the upper 60s so I decided to dress for the weather. I wore white straight leg jeans (last year from Ross), and denim shirt (last year from Target) and my beloved Ivanka Trump Natalie pumps. I decided to wear my Mexican Fire Opal along with silver earrings and a ring all also purchased in Mazatlan, Mexico a few years ago. I wore a Michael Kors belt and watch and carried a clutch by Elliott Lucca. I wasn’t feeling the greatest due to allergies and working in the yard for a good part of the day. But I was warm and comfortable throughout our long wait for dinner.

Thanks for stopping by!

Peace!
