Wearing A Cardigan As A Top

The Scoop

So I am on a purple kick. I found this shade of purple in a top and then the cardigan and I thought wow what a perfect color for fall. So I got a couple of pieces to transition from summer to fall. I know it is way too early and I kick myself every time I think I am excited about fall. But with all the sales and everyone showing fall things, I get a little giddy.

So for this shoot I wore my purple cardigan as a top. It buttons completely down the front and has a tie at the waist so I buttoned it down to my waist and tied the belt and loved the look. I wore it with a pair of cut off jeans and an old pair of sandals that had some bling. I carried a straw bag and thought I had combined the elements of summer and fall just right. This sweater could also be buttoned down to wear as a dress and it would be fabulous! I can’t wait to try it out.

My Look

My top is a light weight cardigan that can be layered and used all year around. My shorts are my favorite cut offs ever and my bag and sandals are several years old. I wore a statement necklace for dimension and dangling earrings both old and I was done.
