Real Life Evening At Home

The Scoop

Lately nothing seems right in the world. Blogging seems so silly but I keep doing it. I guess because it brings me a little relief from worry and sadness.

On this evening I am home alone except for Stella and Tucker my “man’s best friends.” I had a stressful day so decided to play with my blog. I wanted to relax more than anything. So I took a shower and put on this fun casual maxi dress. I think of it as the modern moo moo.

I poured a glass of wine and put classical relaxation music on Pandora and snapped a few pictures.

My Look

I saw this dress somewhere on a blog, I just can’t remember where or I would give credit. I love it so much after I bought one I got it in two more colors. The straps adjust. The fabric is very nice and soft and a good weight and it has pockets. Yep pockets. It’s the little things right?

No shoes, no make up except I did put on a lipstick which I didn’t like but left it on because I was too lazy to wipe it off.

What’s For Dinner?

I made a delicious salad for one. Lots of organic baby spinach, organic heirloom tomatoes, a little spinach tortellini topped with olive oil, pesto and a little grated cheese. It was perfect with my glass of wine.
