The Scoop

I am getting good use out of these comfortable jeans. They are as comfortable as joggers and can be wore so many different ways. I am so glad I added this style to my closet for variety. This summer here in the mountains they will be perfect with bodysuits and light cardigans.

As I look out the window right now I see more signs of spring and I’m so excited for all the things to do. My first big deal will be Morel mushroom hunting. I love these mushrooms and have become quite good at foraging for them in the forest. I can smell them before I even see them. I hope this will be a good year for them but it is a little dry this year and that may effect the availability.

Usually when they come out I take my hike in the morning and pick just enough to add to our breakfast. I love them in eggs. If I get enough though I always make a mushroom pizza. Just thinking about it brings me joy!

My Look

Here I am wearing my Levi’s high waist, wide leg jeans that remind me of a pair I had as a teen. I love how trends come around time and again. I am wearing a floral tunic, and a pair of white mules for shoes. What really makes the look though is my statement necklace. I have had this necklace for years and it always makes a look special and it’s distinctiveness always brings a smile to my face. For a bag I grabbed my wicker clutch also old.

I got my necklace at J. Crew years ago but I found another gorgeous one there and a couple of other beautiful options. I’m wearing Calvin Klein white calf hair mules, old and found some fabulous white mules as options.

Linking my exact jeans, and similar wicker bags. I have carried mine for years and it stays on trend.

Another thing that makes me smile all day long is my sweet little Tucker. He is in almost every single picture I take. He loves me to pick him up and snuggle on the regular. Stella finds my blog shoots old news so she watches from her comfy bed most of the time. But she is another source of joy for us.
