Draw String Shorts

These shorts are so comfy.

The Scoop

I’m calling this week shorts week. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will be my favorite shorts outfits.

I love draw string shorts. They can be very casual or dressed up a little. The fit can be tricky for me because they tend to flare out at the waist rather than lay flat. I am barely pulling these off. They have a full wide leg and strong elastic waist band so they kind of billow out.

One way for me to decide if I like something is to take pictures. Once I saw these pictures I decided I like the shorts. It’s a good thing because I have them in two colors. This soft orange and a soft willow green. The colors were what drew me to them in the first place. I will wear them with bodysuits too.

My Look

I’m wearing these shorts with a tee (Free People). I like this tee because it is shorter and easy to tuck in. I carried an old messager bag (and wore an old pair of wedge sandals (Michael Kors). I wore the same jewelry as usual mostly. The layered necklace( Revolve) and earrings (Amazon) are perfect for summer style.

I was able to find all the same things except for the bag. I couldn’t believe these wedges are still selling. I found the earliest post I did with them in 2016 so they are at least five years old. I still love them and they come in so many colors. Here is that post.
