Bikinin Cover Up For The Lake

As you will see in some these pictures our lake is not quite ready for swiming but I can still plan, right? I was thinking about spending time at the lake beach this summer and some looks that would take me from the shops and restuarants straight out to the beach. And this is one of my latest ideas.
I love my cut offs. I have so many, some I DIYed myself. I’m thinking I’ll wear my bikini under my shorts and add a casual white button down that I can easily shed on the beach.
I’ll need a little bigger bag for my towel, sunscreen, etc. and my hat just rolls up to tuck in a bag until needed. Lastly I will wear these sandals. You see me wearing them in a lot of my posts. The ones I have been showing are Birkenstocks but I don’t want to wear them on the beach, I am more careful with them since I love them so much. So I picked up these that I am wearing in this post at Walmart last weekend. You can barely tell the difference but for the price difference these are what I would wear in the sand and water.
My Look
I’m wearing denim cut offs (Agolde Parker Vintage), a more fitted white button down shirt (old Loft), and a bikini from Venus. My hat is one you can travel with with, it rolls up so you can put it in a bag. These are the Walmart sandals that are Birkenstock dupes. I still like my Birkenstocks better, they seem to fit nicer but really I don’t think there is much difference in the brands. I am carrying my thrifted bag that have seem in my posts for several years.

Linkng same shorts (Agolde Parker Vintage) I sized up to a 27 but 26 might have been better, mine are a couple of years old but the keep them stocked because they are so popular. Linked other options for shorts, similar shirt (I like them more fitted). Same Birkenstock sandals plus several Walmart dupes. Bag options and same hat.
The hat is a best seller, I’ve had mine for a couple of summers now and it is perfect! My bikini which you can’t see much of is from Venus. I wasn’t able to get a link but they have the best bikinis! I love a bikini top under a shirt with shorts for summer. I found very similar earrings. Mine are old (Bauble Bar from Target). Linked same necklace and bracelets. I have two sets of the braclets. I love to wear a set on each arm.
