White Flares Flare

Feeling a little out of style here.

The Scoop

So its been a while since I wore these flared jeans. They are a favorite pair but I have been enjoying the new styles of jeans so much I kind of forgot I had these. They have the cute patch pocket on the front (like sailor pants) and are more of a mid rise. It took me by surprise how much different they looked to me now. I rather like how the new styles define the waist but these are just too fun to not wear. I sort of felt a little nautical with my blue striped top and red and white canvas bag.

Sailor jeans anybody?

But still comfy and confident.

My Look

I don’t think you could find these jeans anywhere right now except maybe at a thrift shop. They just are not on trend but I love these old Gap jeans. I wore them with an old navy blue and white striped button down shirt with 3/4 sleeves (old from a local boutique), a tan belt (old Brighton) and tan sandals (linking same ones). I carried an old canvas tote and this look was complete.

Tan accessories always look great with white.

Create Your Own Look

I was really surprised at how close I came to finding this outfit look alike. I found a pair of patch pocket jeans with a higher wasit at Kohls and a couple of other pairs of flares that are so darn cute. I found several blue and white button downs (but they are a classic that never go out of style). I found really nice similar belts and my same sandals. I even linked my necklace and earrings.

Here are some things on my wish list right now.

Yep this outfit is a keeper.
