The Scoop

I’m reminded of a old quote I heard probably 30 or 40 years ago and it has always stayed with me and held true. “When you least expect it, expect it”. You will see more of what I mean in a picture below. The day I put this look together I wanted it to be unexpected and I think I did the job!

My Look

It has come to my attention that the new trend for bags is a very fun thing. Instead of the overly expensive designer bags, women of wealth are starting to carry simple reusable totes promoting something they find important or expressing a mood or feeling. It is way more “in” right now to carry a tote for PBS, or Climate Change, etc . . . than an LV or Fendi bag. Wow, I love it! I can really get into that!

For this look I wore a pair of overalls with a white tee and a pair of wedge sandals that tie at the ankle. These sandals are all the rage right now! I can see why, they are just a little different. My tote was one I found at a local shop here in McCall. When I saw it I laughed out loud. Somehow it spoke to me and the words transcended the intended meaning. Even though it is a little out of my comfort zone, I bought it. And now I can’t stop carrying it.
