The Scoop
I am still trying to keep up the blog while we move from the mountains of Idaho to the desert of Arizona. We have had our home here for 20 years and although most of those years it was a vacation home we managed to fill it to the brim. I have been slowly trimming the contents down the last few years knowing we would be selling at some point. So it could be lot worse. Still I am getting in my steps, exercise and standing goals according to my Apple watch. I’m thinking that’s a good thing.
For fun in the middle of all this hard work we take hikes. We have a trail right outside our front door that we love. And hiking is one of our favorite forms of activity in Arizona too. There are a lot more places to hike there so I’m really excited.

My Look
I’m wearing a skort in camo made by Eddie Bauer, a sports bra with a white shirt tied at the waist and a pair of amazing hiking boots! To complete my look I am carrying a thrifted straw bag.
This skirt is amazingly comfortable. I got it at Costco and they didn’t have my size so I got it a size up (4). It is big on me but that just makes it more comfy, as long as it doesn’t fall off as I climb up a hill! haha. They had this skirt in several colors.
My boots are Marc Fisher one of my all time favorite brands. They are selling like hot cakes at Nordstrom right now for a bit of a price but I got mine in last years style from the Rack at a fraction of the cost. So happy with this find.
My shirt is old and worn almost weekly. It’s starting too look a little tired but I love it that way.
My bag was bought several years ago at our local thrift shop, another treasure found!

I’m linking my same boots from the Rack (limited sizes). I sized down a half a size according recommendations and they fit perfect. Loved them so much I ordered them in black too. Linking several options same brand from Nordstrom. Also linking a couple of cute skorts in case you can’t get to a Costco! I think you can order them online at Costco.com without a membership. I’m going back to Costco to get this skirt in black to wear with my black boots and jeans for this winter. So excited!
