The Scoop

Wow is it really February? Why is time going by so fast yet so slow? Why does life seem to get more dramatic as I get older? I thought this was my time for relaxing and having peace in my life? I guess these are all age-old questions with no real answers. But here we are entering the month of love and heading straight for spring. And I am up for it!

I am dreaming throughout the night about all the newness of spring, all the pretty colors and all the scents and sounds. Yes, it’s a good time to be alive. It’s good the get excited about all the little things. It’s good to wake up, jump up and see what is waiting outside.

My Look

I was wanting a spring vibe to my look on this day but we still have a slight chill in the air. Here in Arizona however spring will spring in February.

My distressed white denim jacket made me smile and was the inspiration for this look. A simple ribbed tee and a pair of straight leg cropped jeans were added and I pulled out a pair of booties to complete this look.

I’m still sporting my Rebecca Minkoff bag that I got from Poshmark. It’s the perfect transition bag for me. I am sure I will be using it throughout all the seasons. I also dug into my jewelry box and pulled out this necklace that I got at a consignment shop several years ago.
