Paper Bag Pants Spring 2022

The Scoop

It’s been quiet around here this week. It turned very cool on Monday and just kept going downhill from there. It rained a lot on Wednesday. Luckily most of our landscaping was completed so it didn’t get in the way of that.

Now we are at odds with all the javelinas. The first night after about 60 trees and plants were planted, they paid a visit and left a trail of destruction behind. They dug things up for the roots and if it was in front of them, they thought it was free game. We ended up having to put wire fences around each plant to keep them out. Once the plants are established, they should leave them alone. But it is a common problem in these parts of the country.

My Look

Remember these fabulous paper bag jeans? I have had them a few years and I like them more each time I wear them.

For this look I wore a plain white tee, a navy blazer and leopard heels. It was a fun and comfortable look.

If you ever get the chance to pick up a good quality navy blazer, do it. I got this one several years ago at Nordstrom on sale. It is so nicely made and perfect for so many occasions. Slacks, jeans, shorts and skirts it goes with them all!

I love this kind of look for early spring. The navy and the detail of the jeans speaks fresh, new and warm days ahead.
