The Scoop

On the day I took pictures there was thunder and lightening swirling in the skies. We got so much rain and it was heavenly for us in Arizona. Water is so short everywhere in the west and we are no exception. We try to conserve as much as we can. Every little bit will help. Literally farms are shutting down and selling out to builders here. This will surely have long term consequences. Life is a wild ride it seems.

Meanwhile I am trying to enjoy life and practice gratitude. Getting dressed for the day took my mind off things while I played in my closet and with my makeup.

My Look

It is so fun to get in my closet and pull out things I have had for years and create an on-trend spring look. This look is built on neutrals and classics which never go out of style.

Except for my tee shirt which I got a years ago, everything I am wearing is several years old. I haven’t worn these jeans for so long and I forgot how comfortable they were.

My top is from Marshals, jeans are Calvin Klein, Shoes are Vince Camuto and my bag is Louis Vuitton MM Never Full. I’m wearing a diamond solitaire necklace and my wedding rings and a silver ring I got on a vacation in Mazatlán.

My favorite part of this look (although I love each piece) are the shoes. These are the cutest shoes and take me through almost any season. They are the always trending D’Orsay style, only mine also have a tie on them.
