Tomboy Chic

Its been a long time since I’ve heard the term tomboy.

The Scoop

I posted this Reel on IG earlier in the week. I usually do one or two posts a week on IG, only because LiketoKnow.it encourages me to do so. I peek in at a few old friends and then get off because I don’t really feel like I belong there. I love to look at the dog, dance and music reels but otherwise I get an icky feeling about the platform.

Anyway, one of my favorite influencers (SquarePearls) commented. “Cool tomboy chic!” and I loved it! She hit the nail on the head for me. It is odd because as a young girl I was accused of being a tomboy often. I was rather wild, loved riding horses, adored dogs, goats and the great outdoors. I was obsessed with all the boy scouts got to do and refused to be a girl scout. I wanted to be a boy scout. As an adult though I grew to love all things girl. So, let’s say I have an appreciation for both the genders.

This post is all selfies. Some days it is easier than getting my camera set up.

My Look

I’m wearing jeans from H&M. I sized up one and cuffed them for this look. My sweatshirt is also from H&M and my sandals are old by Sam Edelman. My hat is a couple of months old from Revolve. It is a Anine Bing. The shoes are what make this outfit interesting to me. The are sort of out of place in this look and I love that. Kind of how I feel about my place in the world. ha ha.

Linking same jeans and hat. I couldn’t find the Vermont Sweatshirt online but I linked options and along with fun sandal options.

Peace!

Thanks for stopping by!
