The Scoop
There is a bit of a stir regarding this new trend in pants, called the horseshoe or barrel. You see it mostly in denim but I have them in a faux leather also. When I first saw these jeans, I LOVED the silhouette! When I studied them, I thought yeah these will be big with some and hated by others. But still my eye just said for me they were a big yes. I love trying new things and it has been a long time since a new cut for denim as come out.
I got them in this color called winter white, a faded denim color and a mustard faux leather. Argh, I think they are so fun and they are most certainly comfortable.
Now I have seen them in a price range that is crazy. Jeans have gotten so expensive that I think it is ridiculous. The first jeans in this style I saw were in the $200 to $300 range and I was so disappointed because I didn’t love them that much. But soon I found them at Free People and they were under $100. I also found some on Amazon but they were so cheap and awful I returned them. I want these jeans in every color from Free People because the quality is so good and they have them in many colors!
Another fun trend right now is the Barbie pink and yes, I am a fan of that too. I am not into pink frilly things so much but Tom Boy it up some and I am very happy!
My Look
I am wearing my barrel jeans in the color winter white with a pink sweatshirt that I got from Revolve and my pink Sam Edelman pumps. The look just makes me so happy.
Linking my exact jeans in several color along with the faux leather pair I talked about. They come in a black faux leather also. Then linking my sweatershirt with a diferent graphic my same pumps and then options for more sweatshirts and fun pumps.
