Running in the Mountains
The Scoop
I have been out of running commission for a long time. But baby I’m back! I’m on week three of a training app and it feels so good! I am taking it very easy and slow but I am trail running about two miles three days a week! I have to really stretch my hips right after and I am doing two days of strength training to build muscle which helps me stay strong enough to run. It’s such a good feeling. Running was my therapy and I was not doing so well without it. Walking is good but I love running. I will probably never do races again, that is what caused my injury in the first place. But I am ecstatic that I can feel the freedom of running again.
